Stop Motion Design

Niels Hoebers studied at the Design Academy Eindhoven, where he graduated Cum Laude in 2010 with the stop-motion animation Walter, a dialogue with the imagination. Immediately after graduating, he started his Stopmotion Animation Studio in Eindhoven, where he produces complete stop-motion productions from concept to final editing.

Niels Hoebers’ work is characterized by the wide variety of different materials he uses in his animations. The love and knowledge for these materials and their unique qualities make the animations feel magical, yet real. The creativity with which he approaches each project creates a unique fusion between reality and fiction.

Because his animations are performed in high resolution, it is important that every detail, such as texture, shape, light, and composition, is taken care of to the smallest details.

Hoebers’ background as a designer plays a major role in this. His empathy ensures that he quickly understands customers and can successfully translate their wishes into an end product. Thanks to his many years of experience, he knows how to manage time, labor and quality in a project as efficiently as possible.
